Are Chocolat Uzma chocolates all natural?
We never use anything artificial and are intentional with the ingredients we use.
These chocolates are amazing, but I can’t eat all of them! How do I take care of them?
For optimal freshness and flavor, try to enjoy your chocolates within 7-10 days
Store chocolates in a cool, dry place between 64-68°F (14-16°C) and out of direct sunlight
Ah, it’s really hot and humid and I NEED to refrigerate. What do I do?
Place them in a box
Store the box in two airtight plastic bags (make sure the air is removed and bags are fully sealed!)
When you’re ready to enjoy, keep the box in the sealed bags until the entire package is at room temperature (approximately 2 hours)
Enjoy within 10 days
What allergens should I keep an eye out for in your products?
All of our products contain soy lecithin, an emulsifier. Asides from that, all our products are made in the same facility, so they may contain traces of:
Pearl dust (allergen: shellfish)
Are your chocolates Halal?
Yes. All our products are made from premium ingredients, with no use of liqueur, alcohol, or gelatin.
Where can I purchase your products?
All of our products are available at our retail location in Chicago and online. Our online stock is available October–May.
What type of events can I use your chocolates for?
Pretty much whenever you feel like eating chocolate. Weddings, special occasions, corporate gifts, Eid-al-Fitr, Mehndis, and even on just any old treat yo’ self day.

Can I include a note with an online order?
Yes! We know you put special care into sending this gift, so we’re happy to help make your gift fit for any occasion. Gift notes are complimentary – simply write “Add a gift note” and whatever text you want on there in the online order form, and you’re all set!
What’s your online and in-store return policy?
Intention and care is embedded in every step of our process. When you send a gift from Chocolat Uzma, you can be assured that it will arrive in perfect condition. Our chocolates are packed with care – and we even take into account potential changes in climate or destination. If, for any reason, the order does not meet your standards, please e-mail or call us at as soon as possible.
We take pride in our work and take your business seriously, so we go to extra lengths to ensure our chocolates will arrive in pristine condition. Each order is carefully hand-packed, taking into consideration order size, distance, destination, and seasons, to ensure its safe arrival.
What carrier do you use?

Where do you ship from?
When will I (or my giftee) receive the order?
Please allow 24-48 hours for processing. Arrival time depends on USPS requirements. We send tracking information along with your order confirmation.
The final destination for my chocolates is pretty hot. Will the chocolates survive?
When we ship to destinations over 75°F, we will upgrade your shipping to overnight (this additional charge will be applied based on the order total). A $6 summer handling charge, along with cooling materials cost, will be added to all orders when shipping to high heat destinations. In addition, to avoid melted chocolate, orders cannot be in transit over the weekend. We hold those orders until the following Monday.
Order is damaged/missing If your order arrives damaged please send us a photo of the damaged order along with tracking number. We will do our best to resolve and replace the products. If your order has not arrived or is missing please contact the carrier office for further help. We cannot refund or replace an order that has been delivered to the recipient.
